Voiceover Rates

SAG-AFTRA Union Work

As a member of SAG-AFTRA, my voice acting work is performed under SAG-AFTRA contracts. If you are not already a union signatory or you can sign a SAG-AFTRA OPO (One Production Only) Letter of Agreement, let me know the details of your project (e.g., type(s) of media, number of 13-week cycles of use, number of spots or tags, etc.), and I will e-mail you an exact quote of what it will cost.

If you are not already a SAG-AFTRA signatory, it is usually possible to sign a SAG-AFTA OPO (One Production Only) Letter of Agreement to cover your specific production. This approach essentially places just the one production under a union contract. Contact me for further information on the OPO Letter of Agreement.

Commercial Voiceover

Rates depend on the markets in which the spots or tags will be aired, on whether they are for radio or television, and on the length of use. Rates cover one 13-week cycle. A one-year buyout is four times the full cycle rate. Cable TV use, Internet use, and multiple character performances in the same session may affect the rates. An additional percentage is added to the rates as a required SAG-AFTRA Health & Retirement Contribution. Payment is due within 15 business days from the date(s) of employment.

Please contact me with the details of your production for a specific quote.

Industrial/Educational Voiceover

Rates are based on recording session time, and depend on distribution of the production. Category I is limited distribution (e.g., played only at a specific venue). Category II is unrestricted exhibition to the general public. Category II programs are limited to five years of use. An additional percentage is added to the rates as a required SAG-AFTRA Health & Retirement Contribution. Payment is due within 30 calendar days from the date(s) of employment.

In some cases, interactive media such as audio CD games, CD-ROMs, etc. fall under this category. Please contact me with the details of your production for a specific quote.

If your production does not seem fit under the above categories, send an e-mail with the details of your project, and I will provide you with a quote.
